On my last visit with my energy healer/massage therapist there was a message from her spirit guide to me; I should wear an emerald necklace to aid my Heart Chakra.
They told me I must wear it close to my heart and it must be genuine and free of chemical treatments. By doing this, it is supposed to bring me the patience I need in my relationship along with balance, domestic bliss and contentment.
I was also told that my business is not reaching its potential, my talents are not being used to their greatest capacity and that I could be doing so much more. An emerald has the ability to heighten my creativity to take my business to new heights of success.
So I decided to start doing a little research on this dynamic little gem and how it can help heal the heart chakra. I found a wealth of information and got so excited about it, I just had to share!
What is a Chakra
One of the 7 centers in our bodies in which energy flows through.
Blocked energy in any of our chakras can often lead to illness, so it’s important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely
What is the Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra is located in the center of the chest, just above the heart.
It represents the wellspring of love, warmth, compassion, and joy.
By healing the Heart Chakra, one may experience a boost in energy, positivity, love, compassion, and increased sense of connectedness to life.
The Uses of an Emerald
The emerald is a powerful stone with a soothing and calming energy, bringing vitality to the spirit.
Who couldn’t use more love, compassion, and well-being?
It is also said that an emerald can bring success in business, especially for older women (that’s me). It blesses the wearer with creativity, imagination, and expressive skills.
How the Emerald and Heart Chakra Work Together
An emerald is ruled by Mercury and activates the Heart Chakra.
According to Crystal Vaults, “Chakra Healing and Balancing Energy Emerald is the stone which most represents the energy patterns of the activated Heart Chakra, the wellspring of the emotions. [Simmons, 148] The Heart Chakra is located near the center of the breastbone. It regulates our interaction with the external world and controls what we embrace and what we resist, giving us the balancing ability to be ourselves within the environment. When the Heart Chakra is out of balance we may feel either controlling or controlled in a relationship, and become critical of the little foibles of others. We may find ourselves having inappropriately strong emotional responses to everyday external stimuli. Green crystal energy is used to resolve blockages and to re-balance the Heart Chakra, helping us understand our own needs and emotions clearly. We can deal with the ebbs and flows of emotional relationships, understand their cyclic nature, and accept the changes.
Emerald also stimulates the “high heart,” or transpersonal Love center just above and to the left of the Heart Chakra. It assists one in practicing compassion and respectful understanding of others. [Ahsian, 149]”
Why I Decided to Get an Emerald Necklace
I had no idea the emerald had such properties. I have never worn an emerald, but after hearing all of this information, I definitely wanted to get one of my own, pronto!
I sell jewelry on eBay and own a lot of personal jewelry, but there was not a single emerald necklace in my collection.
When I told my other half about this invigorating stone and that it would calm my emotions, he immediately said he’d get one for me.
I’m looking forward to wearing this special piece of jewelry and hope that it really does enhance my life to the fullest, bringing me the abundance I’m hoping for in my business, balance in my life and harmony to my relationship.

Looking to get Your Own Emerald Necklace?
Authentic emeralds can actually be pretty hard to find and are also pretty expensive (you can expect to pay around $2,000-$5,000.)
I currently don’t carry any authentic emerald pieces in my eBay store, as they are a bit risky to sell online, due to the price and the fact that they are known to have a lot of inclusions.
When my other half and I went searching for one at the mall, we had to get through about 4 or 5 different stores, only to find that they all carried either very small or lab created emeralds (including Zales!)
The only store that carried this kind of fine jewelry was Macy’s, which was where we found the perfect piece (see the image at the top!)

I love my Emerald necklace and wear it all the time. My business has picked up and I have more energy to do what I have to do to keep the business fresh and alive.
My heart chakra is doing much better, too. I feel as if I’ve regained my power to calm myself down when I’m feeling overwhelmed and life is oh so much better!
